Peri at Renaissance Gibraltar

Hello everyone - clients and friends!
Many of you will be aware that James and I travelled to Wales at the end of March. It was our intention at that time to return to Gibraltar once the lockdown was over.
Having been in Wales for three months, we have now decided to remain in the UK. This unfortunately means that Renaissance will not be reopening.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have supported me throughout my very happy years in Gibraltar. I have had Renaissance for 20 years now, and that is thanks to all my wonderful clients, many of whom have become my dear friends.
This will not affect my online counselling, which continues, but I am effectively taking semi-retirement.

I wish everyone all the very best for the future. I do intend to keep visiting Gibraltar frequently, so hope to see you all again at some point! Meanwhile, keep safe and well.

Festive greetings, everyone!
December is upon us once again and the Christmas lights have just been switched on in Renaissance! Many people have already been asking me if one of the great Renaissance Christmas traditions will continue this year - the Christmas Prize Draw!
Yes! It starts tomorrow!! All clients receive a ticket for the draw for every £5 or part of £5 spent this month, on treatments, products or gift vouchers.
The prizes are: an Acupuncture Facial (3rd prize) from Pauline So, a full body Aromatherapy Massage (2nd prize) and my ever-popular two-hour luxury Dr. Hauschka Facial Treatment (1st prize). There will also be a £20 voucher and two £10 vouchers as prizes. The draw will take place on Monday, 23rd December. Good luck everyone!

Summer is fast approaching again, and to celebrate this, I am posting another like and share competition! :) One lucky person who likes and shares this post will win a £25 gift voucher to be spent on treatments or products at Renaissance Beauty Salon.
As many of you will be aware, I especially love delivering Aromatherapy Massage Treatments,, and partly this is because I find it so rewarding when clients tell me how much more balanced and peaceful they feel after the treatment. Roseann recently kindly listed on Renaissance's page, the benefits of drinking lemon water. As an essential oil, lemon is one of the most popular and versatile essential oils I use in my aromatherapy massages. I must say here that of course essential oils are not for drinking!!

Lemon's distinctive, refreshing aroma is energising and uplifting.
Lemon essential oil is known to be stimulating to the intellect, bringing clarity, sharpening focus and aiding memory. As such, at this time of intense study and revision, it is an ideal oil for young people to burn, to help them concentrate and absorb information.

Aside from stimulating the intellect, lemon is also well known for its ability to help activate the body's natural defence against infection. This makes it a useful oil to treat conditions such as bronchitis, colds and 'flu, as well as being very effective in a spray as an aerial antiseptic.

I love this time of year with the sense of turning the page for a new start. I plan to refresh the salon during this year, to continue the good work done by Bari Properties, my landlord, who last year demolished the toilets behind the salon and rebuilt them with an exceptionally high standard facility. My apologies for any disruption caused at the time, but this work is now finished and the result is much appreciated by all.
