Everyone loves talking about the cost of the gel.

Almost nobody talks about the cost of the professional using it.

So I did the maths.

I calculated the price per gram and per millilitre of some of the products I use every day.

The result?

💥 Soft gel can actually cost more per ml than builder gel costs per gram.

If we really priced nails only by the amount of product used, many price lists would make absolutely no sense.

Your appointment isn’t expensive because of the bottle on my desk.

Yesterday, a woman called asking about my prices. When I explained that longer nails cost more because they require more time and more product, she told me it was “the biggest bullsh*t” she’d ever heard and hung up.

The conversation didn’t end there.

She went on to insult my education, my qualifications, and even the nail industry in Cyprus.

Pricing isn’t based on what a client believes something should cost.

It’s based on time.

And yes… longer nails take longer.

This isn’t a “Cyprus thing.”

You don’t have to agree with my prices.

You don’t even have to book with me.

But respect is not optional.

If my prices don’t fit your budget, there are plenty of salons that will.

What isn’t acceptable is insulting someone because their business doesn’t fit your expectations.
