In 2026, the sacred Balinese Hindu festivals of Galungan and Kuningan fall on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 and Saturday, June 27, 2026. Galungan marks the return of ancestral spirits to Earth, while Kuningan—held exactly ten days later—marks their joyful departure back to the spirit realm.
