This is me feeling chuffed with myself after teaching my first womb medicine yoga class today 😃

I'm a big worrier, I worry about most things and when they work out I usually kick myself for wasting so much time worrying!! Anyone relate?

I did a workshop with the great Andy J Nathan last night. One of the things I learned is about a thing called Negativity Bias. What it means is that our brains are wired for negative thoughts. In fact, our brain gets us to look for threats where there aren't necessarily any, and then to top it all off, it looks for evidence to prove it. Who knew!!

Isn't that amazing, our brains are hardwired to think negatively and if you think about it most of the time the things we worry about either don't happen or if they do we cope better than we thought we would!

One thing Andy suggested to do when we notice ourselves stuck in a negative loop is to ask ourselves "Can I be absolutely sure what I'm thinking is true?"

I don't normally challenge my thoughts, I just believe they're true but I've been trying it out this morning and so far the answer I've been getting is NO! I'm going to stick this on my wall so I don't forget it.

Hey everyone, just relaxing here on a Saturday morning and noticed that my mind isn't playing ball! Anyone resonate?

Saturday morning

Let my body rest
Trust my intuition

My body wants to go slowly
Stay in bed late
Sit on the sofa
Read, journal, surf Insta!

But wait!
What's my mind doing?

It's shouting at me...

You should be more productive,
You should go out for a walk
You're being lazy.

Gosh look it's after 12 and
you've only just had your breakfast.

A few deep breathes
Eyes closed, connect with my body

It feels good to rest and take it slowly.
There's a whole weekend ahead

So....it's a long time since I've posted here, almost 3 years!!
Alot has changed in that time.
I've moved to the mountains in Italy, we live in a tiny village now. There's lots of snow today!!

I'm not selling natural skincare products any longer but I will be running workshops again this year. So I'll be sharing about products I make, as well as my day-to-day life here in Italy. In the last few months I've started writing alot and I'd love to share some of that with you too xx

This is my fourth week doing the daily morning yoga with the bendy Niamh and Clara from and I'm loving it. Half an hour is really manageable and it sets me up for the day. Thanks guys 🙏❤

When you're eating breakfast and your partner tells you the menu for the day. Then he makes this amazing sourdough bread and when you're in the shower he comes in to tell you he's making a soufle later!!! I'm not in lockdown I'm in heaven ❤
