Making Moments with Martina

We have worked on a lot of new songs this year. Come along to hear them all.

I am a celebrant, registered solemniser and member of Entheos. I am based in beautiful Bray in County Wicklow. Being from Cork originally, I also still have very strong ties to that city and the wonderfully wild West Cork. I am a parent, I have 2 adult and 2 teenage kids.
I have been a member of the Cabinteely Gospel Choir for 26 years. I believe very strongly in the power of music.
I have worked for 10 years helping people to manage their weight. While this may sound like a funny starting place to lead to celebrancy, apart from rearing my children, working with people through the highs and lows of trying to find their healthiest lifestyle has been some of the most humbling and yet engaging work I have done.

Through my experience I have realised the transient nature of life and therefore the importance of celebrating all of life’s achieved goals, milestones, change in circumstance. All the important moments should be recognised and celebrated for what they are. We will never have this time back again so lets hold it in reverence while it’s here.

With that in mind, respecting what is most important to you, I would hope to create a beautiful ceremony for you. The wonderful thing about Entheos is the inclusivity of all people no matter what your background. It means we can create a ceremony with a religious aspect or completely secular. We can include music, poetry and rituals from any tradition. All with a splash of joy and humour.

I am available for weddings, funerals, celebration of life, baby naming, vow renewal and remembrance ceremonies. Or maybe you have a life moment not mentioned here, we can do that too.

Anyone using the N11 southbound to Bray and beyond will be affected by this proposed permanent closure of the Herbert Road exit / entrance off the N11. 1100 objections were put in. A petition with 2000 signatures. All Wicklow councillors voted against this closure at a recent meeting but the County manager decided to go ahead. This is undemocratic.
