Ideal for teens who want to see if nails and beauty is an area that they are interested in, or just want to do their own & friends nails over the summer break!

Learn from Megan Hartigan, owner of a busy nail and beauty salon in Charleville, Co. Cork. My aim as an educator is to show you how to perform nail and beauty treatments easily, safely and profitably.
The way I will teach you how to do nail services in my course is exactly how we perform treatments in my award winning salon.

While the course is mostly practical, we will cover important nail theory for safe treatment practices and correct nail structure!
The practical modules will cover prepping the natural nail for long lasting nails, applying soft gel extensions, and safely removing soft gel extensions.

Students will be working on their own nails so should attend the course with bare nails.

Accreditation is not available for students under the age of 16, so we ask that you ensure you are 16+ before attending the course as you will not be able to receive certification if under 16 years old.

Course Duration:
Sunday, 21st of June - 10am - 4pm

Course Price:
The training fee of €135 includes a soft gel extensions kit (soft gel tips, adhesive and mini lamp)
A full nail kit can be included at an additional cost of €50 (this kit includes a full sized UV/LED lamp, base coat, top coat, gel polish colour, nail prep solution & acetone)
The training course is fully accredited by AIT / ABT.

We offer flexible payment options on all of our courses.

To secure your place, a €50 deposit is required at the time of booking.

About the role: Full time: 29-37.5 hours

This role requires a strong focus on client satisfaction, attention to detail, professionalism, and a passion for the beauty industry.
You will lead the beauty treatments offered in our beauty rooms, therefore it will be your responsibility to manage client satisfaction, treatment standards and development, and any future team development with a high level of responsibility and professionalism.
There is huge opportunity for growth in this position.

Ideally you will need to be qualified and experienced in the following beauty treatments:
* shellac hands and toes
* body waxing including intimate waxing (ideally holding an ITEC qualification)
* spray tans
* lash lifting
* brow laminations
* facial waxing, threading, and tinting

As well as:
* Delivering an outstanding client experience, including consultations, treatments and aftercare advice.
* Maintaining strict hygiene, safety and quality standards in line with the salon policies and industry regulations.
* Capturing high quality images and videos of your work for the salon’s social media platforms as needed.
* Contributing to the salon’s social media content creation.
