Terry dropped in yesterday with his grandson for a haircut,
There’s something special about seeing the next generation sitting in the same shop that that’s been part of the town for so many years.
Who knows… maybe one day he’ll be standing behind the chair instead of sitting in it.

You know, after all these years cutting hair, I’ve realised everyone,no matter how quiet,has something interesting about them. It’s funny, you chat away,and suddenly stumble across something surprising.
It’s been one of the best parts of being here so long - you get a haircut, I get a glimpse into what makes you tick.

This old barber chair has been part of Drogheda barbering history for decades.

It originally belonged to the late Pat Conlon, a barber many people in Drogheda will remember fondly.

Over the years, countless people have sat in this chair, shared stories, had a laugh, and left feeling a little sharper than when they came in.

It's a small piece of local history that we're proud to still have in the shop today.
