Shanny Raichu Tattoos

Hi everyone 👋🏻 I just wanted to post a little life update because I haven’t been active on here. Long story short, my health continues to be completely unpredictable and some days are worse than others, but I am in pain every single day. I’m still waiting on my referrals and the waiting is a killer, especially since the entire situation is really negatively affecting my mental health and my depression is at an all time low. Booking larger tattoos / longer sessions is completely off the cards at the minute and I’m reluctant to book in too many smaller pieces in case I have to reschedule them last minute.
I’m bored, I’m lonely and I’m grieving because I never thought this is how my life would look. I’m in debt and I can’t seem to get on top of it at all because even though I’m not working I still have to pay my studio rent and my home rent (and Dublin is not cheap). It’s very very hard to keep a positive outlook and most days I honestly have to fight for a reason to keep going. I don’t talk about it too much cause people just don’t want to hear it but that’s the reality of how life is for me right now. I’ll try to get back to messages within the next week or so, I had a few people reach out about booking in October and I would really love to try and follow through on those, just to keep my sanity more than anything. Much love to you all 🩷

I love art. Art is my whole life and always has been, right since I could hold a pencil.
I will never stop supporting other artists, I will never stop being a positive force in the community, I will never stop having nice things to say to the artists around me.
I am so angry over the use of AI, I’m so disappointed in so many artists I admired; feeding their OWN work into a machine that’s not only destroying our industry and creativity, but is actively harming THE ACTUAL PLANET.
It takes three seconds of research to see the damage generative AI is doing to the earth, but nOoOoOo, I’m “being a jealous bitch,” by calling out this ridiculous behaviour and pathetic trends.
This new s**t of getting AI to alter your tattoo to look bad just so people will swipe to see the real tattoo; it’s embarrassing.
Is it really worth the extra likes and the 4 comments from idiots going “HAHA THIS IS SO FUNNY BRO!”
Educate yourself. Have a single original thought for once instead of copying everyone else.
I’m trying not to give my energy to this crap but oh my god it’s all over my feed and I’m just so tired of it.
Here are some photos of me from over the years, creating art with my hands. Meeting the best people. Making amazing memories. No AI needed. 🩷
