Now that we’ve reached holiday season and the good weather is finally upon us, we thought we’d share some helpful advice for maintaining blonde hair.

OUR TOP TIPS:

💡 While purple shampoo can be great, overusing it may actually cause a build-up that darkens your hair over time. To get the best results, always use a clarifying shampoo first to remove any excess product and refresh your tone.

💡 While enjoying your sun holidays, be careful applying sun cream and keep it away from your hair (especially if you have extensions). This can cause yellowing that can only be fixed with a blonding session. Never apply it to your scalp if you’re blonde. Use a professional hair sunscreen and, as always when applying heat, use heat protection.

A toner will play a vital role in maintaining your colour between salon visits. It helps neutralise any unwanted yellow tones, keeping your blonde bright and shiny.

So why not book in for a toner and a trim to remove any split ends and keep your hair looking & feeling it’s best.

A lighting update in salon 💡

After much discussion, we’ve decided to replace flattering salon lighting with more realistic everyday lighting.

This includes settings based on

• Car mirror at 8:15am
• Bathroom ceiling light
• Pub toilet
• Natural daylight outside Penneys

We feel this allows guests to make more informed hair decisions and sets clearer expectations.

We know this may take some adjustment but we feel it’s a more realistic guest experience.
