While I keep my page mostly focused on fashion & beauty, today I want to share a little about having a child who's neurodivergent.

April is Autism awareness month. While its great to celebrate it, Autism doesn't end on May 1st. We as a family love to celebrate the small wins & today was one of them. Our son was happy to go and see one of his favourite Disney characters Lightening McQueen.
He was so excited to get up close & personal with the car & his eyes lit up. There was such kindness shown to Corey today by strangers to him. Small things like this can make such a difference.

Families like ours pick our battles. We dont always get to experience what "typical" families do such as day trips, holidays, family celebrations etc..due to various reasons be it over stimulation, sensory overload, or anxiety.
But today was a good day & thats what counts
We are so proud of Corey ✨️💙.
