I think I was always destined to work for myself.

From a young age, I knew I was never going to follow the traditional path, convincing my parents to let me leave school at 15, moving across the world on my own at 21, I always wanted to build something of my own, that independence I had was crazy for the age I was.. but I’ve always known my own mind.

Then I became a mum, and my “why” became so much bigger.

Everything I do is to create a life with freedom, flexibility, and opportunity for my girls.

I’m incredibly lucky to have a husband who’s just as entrepreneurial as I am. He works so hard for our family, supports my business every step of the way, and reminds me that behind many successful women is a partner quietly doing everything they can to help them succeed all while supporting the family no end, and being an incredible dad.

Building a business has never just been about business. It’s always been about family, we learn a lot along the way but very grateful for the journey 🤍

This summer I’ve reduced my hours to spend more time with my kids while they’re off school. They don’t stay little forever, and these are moments I’ll never get back.

A little bit of science for you! Pigments fade at different rates. The darker carbon black components tend to remain in the skin much longer than the warmer red and yellow tones, which naturally fade more quickly. That’s why maintenance appointments are a normal part of cosmetic tattooing and what makes me especially proud is seeing clients who haven’t needed to come back for several years and still have beautifully healed brows with flattering colour. That reflects the years I’ve dedicated to studying colour theory, pigmentology and healed results—not just how brows look on the day they’re done, but how they’ll look months and years later.

I’ve invested tens and tens and tens of thousands into training, education and perfecting my craft, and I’ll never stop learning. I’m always upskilling because I want to continue giving every client the very best results possible.

But let me tell you something from the heart…
I used to be that artist.

The artist spotting patchy areas halfway through a treatment and working chaotically against the clock trying to fix it. This was many, many moons ago now, years ago but those moments taught me everything.

I realised I was working without intention.

So I refined.
I studied harder.

Obsessed over healed results.
