Although life is very different, I look a these moments and think how far I have come since this time last year.
I wish I had more energy, I wish I felt like me again, I wish I didn't have horrible scars, but these scars are a reminder that I am here to enjoy these moments with my family, my friends, & my furry family.
I honestly don't think I have fully taken on board what has even happened, sometimes its like I am on the outside looking in at someone else's life 🫣
I am so grateful to the amazing team in Galway but the two who looked after me the most Professor Ray McLaughlin, and Nurse Nuala in the Breast clinic. Having support from people who actually care means the world. I am forever grateful 🙏.
