Hair extensions don’t automatically ruin your hair. How they’re fitted and cared for makes all the difference.

To look after your natural hair while wearing extensions:

Brush gently and regularly, holding the hair near the attachments when working through knots.

Dry your hair properly after washing, especially around the roots and attachments.

Sleep with your hair in a loose plait to help prevent tangling.

Use heat protection, and avoid repeatedly putting high heat through your natural hair.

Keep up with your maintenance appointments, and leave removal to a professional.

A little care each day makes your extensions easier to manage and helps protect the hair underneath. Save this as your reminder for when your new hair goes in.
