Do the maths on his fade! fifteen euro, take out the rent, the light, the blades, the insurance, and he’s cutting hair for buttons. He either burns out or closes, and you’ll still be there.

Your regulars aren’t paying €22 for a haircut, they’re paying for YOUR chair, your chat, the way their fade is right every single time.

Yesterday I popped up a question box and received some great questions like this one above 👆

You put the prices up a fiver in January and you’re still apologising in August. Here’s when it stops….the day you notice that nobody else in your life apologises for their wages.

The plumber doesn’t. The dentist doesn’t. Your accountant certainly doesn’t hand you the invoice saying “sorry about that.”

So the new rule at the till is simple say the price, then say nothing. The silence feels like an hour. It lasts two seconds. And then they tap the card and ask about your holidays, because it was never the drama you were building it up to be.

You’re allowed to be paid for your work. No apology needed, in January or ever.

If this is you, the till bit gets easier every single time you hold it, promise.
