Hate when people tell grievers how strong they are. Mostly because it seems to imply the griever appears to look okay, because perhaps they aren’t falling apart in that moment, even though their whole world just fell apart. It also could imply that the griever doesn’t need their support since they are already strong. What do you all think about the idea of people telling you that you are so strong?
I do however like this piece on strength. Letting yourself fall apart is strength.
