The Hair Shack

Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to reach out personally with an important update. As many of you know, this past year has been a deeply transformative one for me. Grief has a way of shifting perspectives, and through this journey, I’ve found myself on a different path—one that has led me to make the difficult decision not to reopen The Hair Shack.

This has not been an easy choice, as this salon has been such a huge part of my life, filled with incredible memories, friendships, and the support of an amazing community. I cannot express enough gratitude for every client who has sat in my chair, trusted me with their hair, shared their stories, and been part of this chapter in my life.
I will carry all the love, laughter, and connections we’ve shared …..with me. I appreciate each and every one of you more than words can say, and I thank you for your kindness and understanding.

I wanted to reach out personally with an update. As some of you may know, my family and I have recently experienced a heartbreaking loss, and right now, I need to take some time to process and heal.

This means that I’ve made the difficult decision to keep the salon closed through Christmas . I know this time of year is busy, and I deeply appreciate your understanding and support as I take this step to take care of myself and my loved ones.

Thank you all for your kindness, patience, and friendship. Wishing each of you a peaceful and joyful Christmas , and I look forward to being back when the time is right.

We lost my beautiful brother Cathal last week. As a result, our salon will be closed until further notice while we try to come to terms with this tragedy.
