This day last week we were all looking fabulous at the Connect Kerry Hair & Beauty Awards and what a fantastic night we had! 🥳 We were thrilled to come home with two awards on the night! 🙌🏼☺️

Hi, my name is Kiera Sheehy, I’m 20 years old and I’m so delighted to be nominated for the Junior Stylist category at this year’s Connect Kerry Hair & Beauty Awards.
I discovered my passion for hairdressing while completing my course at Kerry College, and during my work experience at Number 18 Hair & Beauty. That experience showed me how much I love this industry, and I’m now so proud to continue my journey an apprentice at Number 18 with an amazing team.

What I enjoy most about hairdressing is being able to make people feel confident and beautiful through their hair. I also love that there is always more to learn — every day brings new opportunities to grow my skills and creativity.

Hi my name is Rachel McKenna and I have worked in Number 18 Hair & Beauty in Listowel for the past seven years.

I feel so proud to be nominated in three categories this year! With seven years in the industry, hairdressing has become so much more than a career for me—it’s truly my passion. I love using my creativity to transform a look while also making sure every client feels cared for and confident.

Whether it’s the excitement of wedding mornings, the precision of colour work or the finishing touches of a blow dry, I put my heart into everything I do. That’s why this nomination means so much - it’s a true recognition of my passion.

Hi, my name is Lauren Canty. I’m 22 years old and I’m delighted to be nominated for the Junior Stylist category at this year’s Connect Kerry Awards.
My love for hairdressing started at a young age when I would practice styling on family and friends. That early passion encouraged me to complete my training at Kerry College and I am now continuing my journey as an apprentice at Number Eighteen Hair and Beauty in Listowel where i work alongside an amazing team.
What I enjoy most about hairdressing is helping clients feel beautiful and confident . I love the chats and laughs that make every day enjoyable . I’m excited to continue learning and growing within this amazing industry.
