After studying for 2 years in Galway Technical Institute I took up a 9 month Internship with Miranda Moran Physiotherapy in Newtownforbes. During the course of my internship I worked with a wide range of different people. I did work with the Longford Senior Gaa Team & I also worked with patients in Laurel lodge Nursing Home in Longford town. I also assisted one of the Physios Joe Mc.Gowan with tea

ching the Elderly Mobility/Falls class which is run on a Wednesday between 3.30pm-4.30pm in Miranda's building. This class aims to help Elderly people who have had a fall or who may at risk of having a fall to improve their Strength, Balance, Co-ordination & Confidence. I learned a wealth of information while on my Internship with Miranda Moran Physiotherapy. Following on from my Internship, my Treatment Room now open in Miranda's building is where I aim to bring about a sense of peace and well being to all who visit. I am offering a range of services Including Holistic Massage, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Indian Head Massage, Elderly & Senior Massage, Reflexology & Hopi Ear Candling. All of these treatments can have very positive Relaxing and Therapeutic effects. I have a strong passion for helping others and improving their quality of life. I believe there is great benefits to be gained from alternative therapies. In the modern world we live in that is so fast paced & demanding, I strongly believe there is great reward to be gained for both body & mind when one takes the time out to relax and what better way to relax that with a Massage treatment. I feel we all need to take a step back from our busy lives and reward ourselves with some quiet time now and again, and there are so many benefits to be gained when we do so.
