☀️ Skin cancer rates are soaring. A recent study has revealed that in recent decades cases in men have increased five-fold, and rates in women are up 250% - with new cases predominantly appearing in those over 35.

☀️ 86% of skin cancer cases are caused by excessive exposure to the sun's damaging UV rays.

☀️ Broad spectrum SPF use should be a non-negotiable part of all skin care regimes. For additional protection there are certain ingredients that can help the skin to minimise the free radical damage induced by the sun.

☀️ It is logical to assume that high numbered SPF's provide twice the protection, but they only block a margin amout more rays (SPF 15 blocks 93% of rays) and contain a higher level of potentially harmful chemicals. Research has shown that high SPF's can sometimes be harmful when left on the skin.
