Expert Colorist Transformation

During the consultation, I identified the products my client had been using that were causing porosity, damaging the hair, and gradually stripping away her color. She had no idea these products were affecting her color so significantly.

For the transformation, we used a permanent ammonia-based color on the roots, while the lengths and ends were treated with a gentle gloss/toner to refresh and even out the color without unnecessarily opening the cuticle. This is an important part of expert color work: the ends don’t need permanent color when a more delicate toner can achieve the same result while being kinder to the hair.

Afterward, we performed a four-phase Joico treatment to help seal the cuticle, improve the condition of the hair, and lock the color in for longer. A final haircut completed the transformation.

The result? A beautifully uniform color from roots to ends, with healthier, shinier hair. This is the precision and expertise of a true colorist.
