We love hair and we would love you to love yours ❤️ We are located in the MSLETB, Sligo Training Centre (formerly known as FÁS), Ballytivnan, Sligo.
We are training to become qualified hairdressers and have our own salon. To make an appointment please call 071 91 59526. All appointments are complimentary. We only take people from the public on a Thursday at 10.30 am and 1.30 pm.
Yesterday we had a super exciting day showcasing our very own XR Hub. This is an innovative space that shows interactive ways to use immersive technology when teaching and learning.
Again, this is not a place I had been before, but now I am excited about ways to help our learners, I will be back soon, and that's not just for another demo of the 3D printer 😉.

more special when we bring our French partners on tour and they recieve the warmest welcome from my colleagues. Even though I have been working in this organisation for nearly 10 years, everytime I do a tour of , I am excited about all the opportunities that are available to people.
I am ashamed to say I have never taken a tour of before but I was impressed to say the least at the amount of courses available and amenities they have for learners.

A huge thank you to Ashley Long for teaching us new tips and tricks when it comes to styling hair.
We had fun, learning new ways to style hair for commercial clients and editorial shoots. We even got a brief tutorial on how to take the perfect pic (I would need weeks of training, not a day 🤣).
Thank you to Nicola Crossan, Crossan Hair & Beauty , without you, none of this eduction for hairdressers would be possible.

Sorry that we have been quiet lately but we have been practising all things hair and scalp here in Training Centre Sligo.
It is amazing how time is going so quick, the stage 3 apprentices are working on their end of year projects and the stage 1 apprentices are perfecting their styling skills.
