Yesterday evening, we celebrated Recovery Month at our Recovery CafΓ© β€” and what a fantastic evening it was!

There was great music, BBQ, inspiring stories and, most importantly, a wonderful sense of the growing recovery community in Clondalkin. ❀️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and helped make the evening so special.

🌟 To our two brave speakers β€” thank you for having the courage to share your personal journeys to recovery. Your honesty, strength and openness were inspiring.

Recovery Month is about celebrating recovery, hope, resilience, friendship and community β€” and yesterday evening had all of that in plenty. πŸ’œ

We were delighted to celebrate alongside people in recovery, their families, colleagues and friends from across our local community.

Everyone in the community is invited to get their steps in, show support, and celebrate recovery together.

🌱 BACK TO BASICS – 30 WEEK FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAMME 🌱

Have been affected by or are you dealing with a loved one's substance use? πŸ’š

CASP's next Back to Basics Family Support programme begins on Monday, 14th September 2026 at CASP.

Back to Basics Family Support Programme is a supportive 30-week programme for family members who are, or have been, affected by a loved one’s substance use. It provides a safe space to focus on you β€” your needs, your wellbeing, your boundaries and your confidence.

The programme includes three modules:

🌿 Back to Basics – self-awareness, understanding your personal needs and building healthy boundaries
πŸ’ͺ Empowerment & Addiction Awareness – understanding addiction-related behaviours and learning healthier ways to respond
❀️ Health & Wellbeing – focusing on self-care, self-love, health and overall wellbeing

There will also be opportunities for group activities, field trips, arts and crafts, and time to connect with others who understand what you may be going through.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to CASP's Summer Fun Day last week and helped make it our busiest Summer Fun Day ever! πŸ’™
It was fantastic to see so many people from across our community enjoying the wide range of activities on offer, catching up with friends, making new memories and simply having fun together. To top it all off, the sun stayed shining right until the very end! 🌞😊
It was wonderful to see people of all ages coming together to enjoy such a special day.
A big thanks to everyone who helped promote the event and spread the word.
A special thank you goes to Clondalkin Men's Shed and Ballyowen Travellers Family Care for their support and contribution to the event. We are grateful to have such fantastic community partners working alongside us.
