Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a non-invasive process in which specific wavelengths of light interact with cells and influence biological signalling.
🔬 WHAT HAPPENS INSIDE THE SKIN?
Red and near-infrared light can interact with cellular structures, including mitochondrial pathways associated with energy production.
This may influence:
• ATP production and cellular energy
• mitochondrial activity
• inflammatory signalling
• fibroblast activity
• collagen and elastin-related processes
• cellular repair and regeneration

✨ WHY DO I USE LIGHTWAVE IN COMBINATION TREATMENTS?

However, LED is not simply “more light = better results”.
