One of the things I treasure most about my studio is what lies just beyond its door. Less than a minute away is the beautiful Cullen Wood, a place I visit often to pause, breathe, and take in the panoramic views over Magherabeg, Magheramore, Wicklow Head, and the coastline beyond.
Having worked in luxury spas, I'm familiar with elegant relaxation rooms. But for me, nothing compares to nature. After your treatment, instead of returning straight to the busyness of everyday life, you can take a gentle walk, listen to the birdsong, feel the fresh sea air, and allow the benefits of your treatment to settle. Deep Tissue is slow and focused detail through the different muscles groups. i usually take 40mins on the back alone
Why do shoulders become so tight?
It isn't always because the muscles are "tight".
Hours at a desk, driving, stress, poor posture and repetitive movement all encourage the body to protect itself by holding tension.
