I know that might sound strange coming from a skin therapist, but when it comes to advanced skin treatments, my priority will always be the health and long-term condition of your skin — not simply doing the treatment you’ve asked for.

Before recommending something like microneedling, a chemical peel or another advanced treatment, I need to look at the bigger picture.

Is your skin barrier healthy?
Are you consistent with your homecare?
Have you had regular treatments?
Do you understand the aftercare?
Do you have enough time before an important event for your skin to recover?
And most importantly… is this actually the right treatment for your skin right now?

Sometimes the answer is yes.
Sometimes the answer is not yet.

And that doesn’t mean we’re doing nothing. We choose an alternative treatment. It means we’re preparing your skin properly so that when we do move onto an advanced treatment, your skin is in the best possible position to respond well.
