After 10 very successful years, my time on the North Main Street is coming to an end.

This hasn’t been an easy decision to make, but it feels like the right time for change, some rest and reflection, and to look ahead to what’s next.

To each and every one of you who have supported me over the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your loyalty has meant more than I can put into words. Many of you first walked through the door as clients and are now leaving as friends.
So many memories, lots of laughter and a lot of conversations! I am so grateful for the loyalty, support, connection and the memories we have shared over the last decade and I’m truly honoured that you trusted in me both personally and professionally.

I will be taking my last appointments up to Wednesday 10th June 2026 and I would love to see you before then ☺️ All existing appointments will go ahead as planned, there will be no need to reconfirm your bookings.
I would kindly encourage anyone with gift vouchers to use them before this date to avoid disappointment.

As this chapter comes to a close and I look forward to new beginnings, I just want to say a heartfelt thank you for being part of such a rewarding journey, I am very grateful to have shared it with you all.
This isn’t goodbye - just a “bye for now” ☺️

As we head into the last few very busy days before the Christmas break, I would appreciate anyone with an upcoming appointment take a moment to read.

I was hoping not to have to state the obvious but unfortunately I find myself without a choice.

❌ NO SHOWS

Failing to attend an appointment (which you have requested and booked yourself!) without notice is detrimental to any business at any time, but particularly at such a busy time of the year when appointments are in such demand.
Without adequate notice it is impossible to offer your slot to another client who is on the waiting list and would like to avail of this time. In addition to this, it has a serious financial impact on me and my small business.
I do not have a strict cancellation policy as such and offer a very personal one to one service where I am as flexible, understanding and accommodating as possible. I would appreciate the same courtesy shown to me, it really isn’t too much to ask.

I totally understand that we all get caught for time at such a busy and pressured time of the year.
Unfortunately I find myself having to send an increasing number of texts to clients advising of delays throughout the day. I allow more than enough time for each client but lateness has a knock on effect on myself and other people booked in which isn’t fair. If you are running late please let me know but also be aware that I might not be able to facilitate your appointment and I do not have the flexibility to reschedule.

As always I appreciate every client that comes through my door but please be kind and considerate this Christmas 🎄

Salon will be closed Tuesday 23rd - Saturday 27th and will reopen on Tuesday 30th May.

I have limited availability but will do my best to accommodate any clients who would like to avail of a last minute appointment before the weekend, please book early where possible!

Clients that have made enquiries/provisional bookings for late May, June and July - I will contact you over the course of the week to confirm all appointments.

After what has been another challenging year for us all I would just like to take the time to say a huge thank you to all my loyal clients,
old and new, who have continued to support me so well. In such uncertain times your custom is greatly appreciated as always.

As we all head towards a well earned Christmas break it’ll be a busy few days ahead.
With that in mind I kindly ask that if you have to cancel an appointment for any reason at all please give adequate notice where at all possible. I have a cancellation list in place and this will allow time to offer a slot to another client waiting to book in. ‘No shows’ are detrimental to every small business at any time of the year but this year even more so.

Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible - inevitably we all get caught for time during the busy Christmas rush but arriving late has a knock on effect and it’s unfair to delay other clients at such a busy time.

If you require an appointment and would like to be added to the cancellation list let me know and I will do my absolute best to accommodate you.

Fiona’s Beauty Room will close on Thursday 23rd Dec and reopen on Wednesday 29th.
