The InnovCare project will aim to provide a novel support system with personalized assisted living ICT services for older adults in order to prolong their autonomy, improve their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing , prevent further dependence, and facilitate networks to support self-care.

In the last month, all different InnovCare functionalities and use cases have been evaluated together with informal caregivers and care professionals. In Norway, Seniornett has organized 2 sessions with 3 informal caregivers, and in the Netherlands community nurses and a GP have been involved. Together, they “walked through” different use case visualisations and their opinions were discussed. The vast majority was very positive about the InnovCare functionalities, but also a variety of suggestions for improvement were reported to have a better alignment with daily (in)formal care.
We keep on working to refine the InnovCare technology!!
