Beach day discoveries! Though it looks like a jellyfish, it’s actually a floating colony of tiny marine organisms. Its stunning blue color shields it from sunlight and predators, and it drifts with ocean currents, often washing ashore after strong tides. Mostly harmless to humans, this little ocean wonder feeds on tiny plankton and is commonly found along tropical coastlines, including India. Though they can sting slightly, so it’s better not to touch them with bare hands.
