Most skincare brands build products around visible concerns.

Dry skin.
Pigmentation.
Acne.
Glow.
Fine lines.
Sensitive skin.

At Sushenah, we ask a different question:

What is the cause behind the concern?

That is why Sushenah follows a Cause-Based Skincare model built around four core pathways:

Hydration — dryness, tightness, roughness, barrier weakness
Inflammation — redness, irritation, sensitivity, acne-prone stress
Collagen — firmness, texture, early ageing signs, environmental stress
Pigment — uneven tone, tanning, post-inflammatory marks, visible discoloration

These four causes become eight products because each cause has two formats:

Butter + Serum

So the system becomes:

Hydration Butter + Hydration Serum
Inflammation Butter + Inflammation Serum
Collagen Butter + Collagen Serum
Pigment Butter + Pigment Serum

Across all eight products, Sushenah uses its in-house Biomolecular Carrier System — a lipid-rich formulation architecture built using cold-pressed oils, natural butters, essential oils, herbs, and beeswax.

This carrier system is designed to support barrier compatibility, spreadability, moisture retention, and cause-specific botanical delivery.

This is not a cure claim.
This is not a medical replacement.
This is a clearer way to understand skincare.

Four causes. Eight products. One formulation philosophy.

Save this if you believe skincare should begin with understanding the cause.

Cause-Based Skincare Version

Most skincare brands create one product for every visible skin concern.

Dryness? One cream.
Pigmentation? One serum.
Acne? One gel.
Glow? One oil.
Fine lines? One more active.

At Sushenah, we do not look at skin this way.

We believe many visible concerns are not separate stories. They often come from deeper underlying causes.

That is why Sushenah follows a Cause-Based Skincare model.

Instead of making 50 products for 50 concerns, we organize skincare around four major cause pathways:

Hydration — dryness, tightness, roughness, barrier weakness
Inflammation — irritation, redness, reactive skin, acne-prone stress
Collagen — loss of firmness, texture changes, early ageing signs
Pigment — uneven tone, tanning, post-inflammatory marks, visible discoloration

One concern can involve more than one cause.
But the cause still matters more than the label.

This is why Sushenah has a structured system:

4 causes.
2 formats for each cause.
Butter + Serum.
8 core products.

Not because one product can fix everything.
Not because skin is simple.
But because skincare should begin with understanding, not confusion.

Sushenah is not trying to fill your shelf.

We are trying to help you understand your skin, your ingredients, and the cause behind what you see on the surface.

Cause-based skincare. Not category-based skincare.

Save this if you believe skincare should begin with understanding the cause.

Dry skin and dehydrated skin are often spoken about as if they are the same problem.

They are not.

Dry skin is usually connected with insufficient protective lipids.
The skin may feel rough, flaky, tight, or less comfortable because the lipid barrier is not supporting moisture retention well.

Dehydrated skin is mainly about low water in the outer skin layer.
It can happen even when the skin looks oily, shiny, or acne-prone.

That is why at Sushenah, we do not begin with the visible symptom alone.

We ask:

What is the primary cause?

Is the concern mainly connected to:

Hydration?
Inflammation?
Collagen?
Pigment?

For dryness, tightness, dehydration, and excessive moisture loss, the primary Sushenah category is usually Hydration Care.

But this is important:

An oil or butter can soften the skin and reduce water loss.
It does not supply water by itself like a water-based humectant formula.

So before choosing a product, understand the difference:

Dry skin may need richer lipid and occlusive support.
Dehydrated skin may need water-retention support and reduced evaporation.

And if there is burning, persistent redness, itching, rash, cracking, or severe discomfort, hydration may not be the only issue. The skin may need medical assessment.

Sushenah principle:

Understand the cause first.
Then choose the care category.
Then choose serum, butter, or both.

Save this before your next skincare decision.

Save this if your skin feels hot, red, sensitive, or easily irritated.

Cooling your skin is not about freezing it.

Not ice.
Not menthol shock.
Not the fake “fresh” burning feeling.
Real cooling starts when irritated skin stops feeling threatened.

In Ayurveda, cooling was never just about temperature.

It was about calming the entire skin response.
When skin feels hot, it may be signaling:

• A damaged skin barrier
• Inflammation overload
• Reactive nerve endings
• Dilated blood vessels
• Sensitized skin microbiome
• Increased transepidermal water loss (skin losing moisture too fast)

That is why real cooling care should calm the chain reaction — not (overstimulate) the nerves for temporary sensation.

Think:
Aloe vera for hydration and soothing
Sandalwood for calming heat and irritation
Barrier repair support
Low-irritant skincare
Inflammation control
Sensitive skin recovery

Because healthy skin does not just feel cold.
It feels safe, balanced, and comfortable again.
Rooted in Ayurveda. Explained by science.

Save this if your skin has started feeling unpredictable.

Your skin is not moody.
It may be leaking water through a weak barrier.
One day it feels fine.
Next day, your cleanser burns.
Your moisturiser disappears.
Your cheeks feel tight.
Your texture looks rough.

A product that once felt normal suddenly stings.
So you think your skin is confused.

But skin is rarely random.

When the barrier weakens, five signs often show up:
Tight after washing.
Products start stinging.
Flaking without real dryness.
Rough texture that does not smooth out.
Moisturiser disappears quickly.

These are not always five separate problems.
They may be five versions of the same message:

The wall is weak.
Water is escaping.
The skin is asking for repair.
So before you brighten, peel, exfoliate, or “activate,” listen to the barrier first.

If 3+ signs match, pause the things that keep pushing the skin:
Strong exfoliation.
Harsh foaming cleansers.
Alcohol-heavy toners.
Fragrance-heavy products.
Scrubbing flakes.
Changing products every few days.

A damaged barrier does not need more stimulation

It needs fewer insults and more repair.

Cause-based skincare for Dehydration & Barrier.
Start lighter with Hydration Care Serum.
Choose deeper repair with Hydration Care Butter.
Repair first. Then treat.

Save this before you call Bakuchi “natural retinol.”
Bakuchi is powerful.

But calling it “natural retinol” is lazy science.

It sounds convenient.
Retinol is famous.
Bakuchi is natural.

So the market says: natural retinol.
But a plant bioactive is not retinol just because it walks toward a similar result.

Retinol is a vitamin A derivative.
Bakuchiol is a plant-derived meroterpene phenol.

Research may call bakuchiol a functional analog in some skin outcomes.

That means: similar direction.

Not the same molecule.
And that difference is not a weakness.
It is the value.

Bakuchi is not about bullying the skin into turnover.

Good renewal is not:
Peel.
Dry.
Sting.
Flake.
Call it glow.

Good renewal is rhythm.

Bakuchi may support antioxidant defence, inflammation balance, tone correction, ageing
support, and calmer renewal when formulated properly.

But it is not a fairness ingredient.
It is not instant collagen.
It is not overnight pigment removal.

It is not automatically safe because it is natural
Source matters.
Extraction matters.
Purity matters.
Concentration matters.
Carrier matters.

Because renewal is not only what the active does.
It is also how politely the active arrives.

Sushenah Care
Plant-based renewal, not natural retinol.
Bakuchi is Bakuchi.
And that is enough.
