Even dermatologists get oily, acne-prone skin. Her whole routine takes 5 minutes. 🌿

Meet Dr Charu, Head of Dermatology at Cure App - real talk, her skin isn't "perfect" either. Here's the exact morning skincare routine she follows for oily, acne-prone skin:

1️⃣ Empty stomach + warm water + a glutathione supplement brightens skin from within and helps with pollution and sun damage
2️⃣ A micronised salicylic acid face wash that deep cleanses oily skin without stripping the skin barrier
3️⃣ A barrier restructure cream (yes, oily skin needs a moisturiser too, just the right one)
4️⃣ Sunscreen, 15 minutes before stepping out - non-negotiable if you want to prevent tanning, pigmentation and acne scars from getting worse

No 10-step routine. No fancy tricks. Just real skin, a real routine, and consistency.

💬 Save this if you have oily or acne-prone skin and need a dermatologist-approved morning routine and tell us in the comments which step you're currently skipping.

Your 30s skin isn't punishing your age. It's replaying your habits. 👀

Every SPF you skipped. Every night you crashed without washing your face. Every "I'll start my skincare routine on Monday." It's all showing up now and none of it is too late to fix.

The truth about ageing skin: it has less to do with the calendar and more to do with consistency. SPF, hydration and sleep aren't optional extras, they're the whole routine.

Swipe back to slide 3 and be honest with yourself. 👆

Save this as your reminder for tonight's routine, and tell us in the comments - which habit are you most guilty of skipping? SPF, hydration or sleep?

If you're ready to stop guessing what your skin actually needs, Cure App's free AI skin analysis pairs with a dermatologist-prescribed routine built entirely around your skin, not a trend.

Jawline and chin acne that keeps coming back no matter what you try? It might not be a skincare problem at all.

Dermatologists are now renaming PCOS to PMOS - Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome - because it doesn't just affect your ovaries, it affects your hormones, metabolism and skin. That's why PMOS acne behaves differently: deep, painful, recurring breakouts concentrated on the lower face, jawline and chin, driven by rising androgen activity that overworks oil glands and clogs pores. No random acne cream or social media hack fixes a hormonal root cause.

Real treatment starts with a dermatologist who looks at your skin alongside your hormonal and metabolic health, not in isolation.

If your breakouts follow this exact pattern - chin, jawline, lower face - save this reel and comment "SKIN" and we'll walk you through how Cure App's AI skin analysis plus dermatologist-prescribed treatment gets to the root of it.

Your skin doesn't want the same product twice a day - it wants two different jobs done well.

☀️ AM = Defence. Cleanse, then protect. Sunscreen isn't optional, it's the whole point of your morning routine.
🌙 PM = Recovery. Cleanse, treat, hydrate. This is when your skin actually repairs what the day did to it.

Most breakouts and dull-skin days aren't a "wrong product" problem, they're a wrong-time problem. An AM-PM skincare routine isn't a trend, it's just working with your skin's own clock instead of against it.

This is exactly how every Cure kit is built - AI skin analysis mapped against your concerns, reviewed & prescribed by a dermatologist, then split into a morning defence routine and a night recovery routine so nothing's guesswork.

Save this so you stop mixing up your steps at 11pm 😅

Comment AM or PM - tell us which half of your routine you're most likely to skip, and we'll tell you why that one matters most.

Your skin isn't confused. Your routine might be.

Hormonal acne and inflammatory acne can look almost identical on the surface — but the root cause, where they show up, and what actually treats them are completely different. Use the same routine on both, and you'll keep circling back to the same breakouts.

Swipe through to see how to tell them apart: root cause, how it looks, where it shows up, and what actually works for each.

Not sure which one you're dealing with? Save this for your next breakout, or comment SKIN and we'll help you figure out your exact type.

SPF 50 won't fix your pigmentation if you're ignoring THIS one label

Everyone obsesses over the SPF number, but almost no one checks the PA rating and for pigmentation, that's the number that actually matters. An SPF 30-50 is genuinely fine. What you need to look for on top of that is PA+++ or PA++++. SPF + PA together is what gives you true broad spectrum protection (UVA + UVB) which is the real key to preventing dark spots from getting worse.

And no, potato slices will not fix your hyperpigmentation. It's a sweet mummy-dadi nuskha, but raw ingredients in their natural form just aren't potent enough to treat pigmentation the way consistent SPF+PA protection and targeted actives can.

Save this so you remember to flip the bottle and check PA next time you're sunscreen shopping.

Comment "NUSKHA" if you grew up on desi skincare hacks like this one, let's see how many of us tried the potato trick!
