Aurassure
Sustainability Platform for Environmental Awareness There is a need of an efficient pollution monitoring system which can sublime into the fabric of the cities.
This can bridge the gap between the people, the authorities and the environment. Government bodies and municipalities have been taking actions based on very few sparsely distributed stationary monitoring devices which do not suffice to the needs of the people. With these crucial aspects into consideration, we bring you ‘Aurassure Trust’; a cost effective network for street level pollution monitoring. An integrated ‘Aurassure’ app will enable people to take real time decisions based upon geo-location based information. Asthma and heart disease patients, children, pregnant women and senior citizens can know about their exposure levels. People can plan their travel choosing the route with minimum level of pollution. Medical diagnosis will become easy. The girls and women can also care for their hair and skin. This solution can give common man a well aware and informed pictorial map of pollution density at street level.

Some of the most important systems around us are the ones we cannot see. High above Earth, the ozone layer absorbs much of the Sun’s harmful ultraviolet radiation, helping protect life below.
World Ozone Day is a reminder of what science, monitoring and collective action can achieve when we understand our atmosphere better.
At Aurassure, that same idea drives environmental intelligence: measure what matters, understand what is changing and act with greater clarity.

The Nepal floods of August 2026 raise an important question about how we build flood early-warning systems in mountainous regions.
USGS reports that the event was likely initiated by a rapid slope failure involving a glacier in Langtang National Park. The resulting debris flow and flood travelled nearly 100 km downstream. Preliminary assessments indicate that a large volume of ice and rock debris entered the Lhende Khola, generating a powerful surge of water, sediment and boulders through the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river systems. At Galchchi, water levels on the Trishuli reportedly rose by as much as 9 metres within 30 minutes, illustrating the extraordinary speed of the flood wave.
What makes this particularly important is that mountain hazards are interconnected. A disturbance in one part of the system can rapidly cascade into impacts far downstream.
Not every flood begins with rainfall. And this creates a fundamental challenge for conventional warning systems: if the trigger is not rainfall, a rainfall-based warning system may have little or no time to respond.
Early warning, therefore, cannot simply mean monitoring one parameter. In cross-border mountain regions, the challenge is even greater: harsh terrain makes monitoring difficult, infrastructure and communication networks can be limited, and timely sharing of critical data depends on coordination across political boundaries.
The challenge is not just detecting a hazard. It is getting the right information to the right people, in time to act.
The science around this event is still evolving. But one lesson is already clear: early warning is only one part of resilience. Reducing future risks will require early warnings that reach everyone, stronger climate and hazard awareness within communities, disaster-resilient infrastructure, and sustained climate finance for adaptation. Science can improve what we predict; resilience depends on what we do with that knowledge.
May the spirit of Rath Yatra guide us towards greater awareness, stronger communities and a healthier future.
Happy Rath Yatra! ✨

She Notices The Fever Before The Thermometer Does.
The Silence Before The Tears.
The Discomfort Before The Words.
Because a mother’s care has always gone beyond what we can see.
This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the women who instinctively create spaces that feel safer, warmer, and healthier for the people they love most.
At Aurassure, we believe awareness is a part of that care too - helping bring real-time visibility to indoor air quality and the environments families experience every day.
Here’s to the mothers who notice everything, even the invisible things that matter.
Happy Mother’s Day. 💙
Climate risks are no longer distant possibilities. They are becoming more frequent, more intense, and far more complex to manage.
Heatwaves are getting harsher. Rainfall is becoming harder to predict. Urban systems are facing growing environmental stress.
Resilience today cannot rely on infrastructure alone. It depends on environmental intelligence that helps decision makers see change as it happens and respond before disruption grows.
Real time monitoring gives cities and industries the visibility to act early, adapt faster, and reduce risk with confidence.
Because resilience is not just about withstanding climate threats. It is about understanding them in time to act.

We’re excited to share that Aurassure has 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 ₹𝟮𝟱 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, led by Rainmatter by Zerodha and Unicorn India Ventures.
This milestone reinforces Aurassure's belief since 2022: climate intelligence must be immediate, accurate and hyperlocal for enterprises and cities facing volatile climates. Founded by serial entrepreneurs Akanksha Priyadarshini and Vamsi Krishna, alongside Raviteja Cherukuri, Omprakash Patra, Satyanarayan Bishoyi and Asutosh Acharya, Ph.D., Aurassure built a vertically integrated platform turning raw environmental signals into early warnings, risk indices and insights.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Expanded operations into Brazil and Bangladesh, enabling the deployment of 2,000+ sensor nodes with 99% uptime across 200+ cities in India and 100+ in Brazil, while achieving 150% year-on-year revenue growth.
This milestone belongs to the Aurassure team - engineers, scientists, operations and partnerships teams - who are building reliable, ground-truth climate intelligence every single day.
A heartfelt thank you to our investors Bhaskar Majumdar, Anil Joshi, Ratun Lahiri, Abhinav Singh Negi for their unwavering support and belief in our journey.
Our mentors and advisors Srustijeet Mishra, Bikram Mahajan, Prarthana Borah, Amit Morya, Prateek Gera, Gopalakrishna Bhat, Manoranjan Mohapatra for their constant guidance, belief and encouragement through every phase of our growth.
We are deeply grateful for the early ecosystem that helped shape Aurassure - Foundation for Technology & Business Incubation (FTBI), NIT Rourkela and STPI - Software Technology Parks of India, whose support played a critical role in our formative years.
As climate risks intensify, what was once a nice-to-have has become an absolute necessity. Aurassure remains committed to enabling cities and enterprises to move from reactive responses to proactive climate resilience.
Onward - towards enabling real-time climate awareness in 1,000 cities across the Global South.
