Back in 2017, I was volunteering at a local farmers’ market, where conversations often revolved around simple, less-toxic living. One topic came up again and again—switching to a natural tooth powder.

I’d explain how easy it was to make, but almost everyone would smile and say,

“Sunayana, we don’t have the time. Can you make it for us?”

So one Sunday, I carried a big mason jar of my homemade tooth powder to the market and asked people to bring their own little jars. I filled them up, shared the recipe on our WhatsApp group, and thought that was the end of it.

It wasn’t.

People kept coming back for more.

That little mason jar became Chamkeela—the very first Raw Beauty product.

The recipe has evolved over the years, but the intention has remained the same: to make conscious, non-toxic living a little more accessible.

And perhaps that’s why, nearly a decade later, Chamkeela is still our most-loved and best-selling product. Thank you for letting our very first creation become a part of your daily routine. It means more than you’ll ever know. 🌿

Every time I receive a message like this, I pause for a moment.

I feel happy that something we’ve made has brought comfort to someone.

I feel deeply grateful too. If these little jars are helping people, I know the credit isn’t mine alone. I truly believe it’s God’s grace flowing through my hands and this craft I’ve been entrusted with.

And I feel a deep sense of responsibility too.

Because every jar we make carries someone’s trust. Sometimes, it’s the product they reach for after trying many others. That’s not something I ever want to take lightly.

It reminds me to keep creating the way we always have—with honesty, intention, and thoughtfully chosen ingredients. To never make promises we can’t keep, and to always let the product speak for itself.

These little cotton sling bags are stitched from fabric scraps collected from local tailors—pieces that would otherwise have ended up in a landfill. Instead, they’re thoughtfully pieced together by a woman earning an income through her craft, giving discarded fabric a second life.

They’re simple, lightweight, and perfect for everyday errands—just enough room for your phone, keys, a small wallet, and a few essentials. Each bag has a hand-stitched button closure, and because they’re made from reclaimed fabric, no two are ever the same.
