Art of the Ocean : 🌊 Nature reveals its infinite skills if we have time to pause and look around us. Few patterns that I have discovered on the shoreline this monsoon.

ON THE EDGE OF THE THAR : the beauty is not always soft nor it is cool. Sometime it is beautiful because it is dangerous, lonely and minimalistic. The Thar is a blend of all of that. Survival of the fittest applies here. But in this brutal space the life springs with music, beauty, eternally echoing voices of mystics and sand. The dances of the tribal, songs of the Manganiars, Langha, Sindhi and Sufi voices all combine here and spread across the globe. Rajasthan is a land of contrast. I felt most alive here just like the Himalays. Connect with us to plan your overlanding trip to the offbeat places.

ON THE EDGE OF RAJASTHAN You are driving on a highway where for miles and miles you see the desert stretched to the horizon. Khejadi trees, colourful flowers and nothing except your car. Sounds like a dream ! But yes we have experienced it for continuous 3 days driving from Tanot mata temple to Bakhasar. The beautiful and soft road was like a dream for an Indian who has only seen potholes, heard incessant honking, twists and turns. So this journey was unreal for me.
Met a lot of kind hearted people who opened their doors and fed us, had a lot of delicacies, saw beautiful landscapes, wildlife, experienced winter fog in the morning, summer heat in the noon, wind caressing us all over and rain showers in the evening. It was beyond my imagination like how it happened in Rajasthan. But if you are open to any possibilities, and do not have a deadline to reach back home then nature unfolds its drama.
This route showed clear skies, amazing trees that I never saw even in the forests, very beautiful huts, people celebrating life in the harsh region. This is now my favourite region to travel again. The connection of humans with the animals is a thing to be cherished. Peacocks, camels, and deers were roaming everywhere without fear. What you think about a nation, state or a tourist destination might not be true. Rajasthan is a land of contrast. It overwhelms you with the emptiness and also noise, music and sounds in its cities. Villages dot the horizon like a design in the desert. The Scarcity of water makes it even more precious but at the same time you see numerous beautiful trees, flowers , weeds and even farms into the sand dunes.
Never go with preconceived notion this state will totally blow your mind with it’s beauty and emptiness. This is a story of our travels crossing Rajasthan through its westernmost edge. Do join us in our travels. Will be releasing blogs and videos very soon bit by bit.

Unending forest that covers rolling hills and a river that cuts them in half is a kind of dream. For me it's dream turned into reality. Here's a picture that can't really give justice to the actual view. More images coming soon....

The land of the India Gaur ( fondly / mistakenly called as bison ). We were fortunate to spot different families spending grazing time together. Watching them from up close early morning while going through the mix of grassland and forest into the western ghats. Summer is a blessing if you are prepared.

Kutch and it’s surreal landscape. A beautiful photo essay on our blog.
Kutch : a conversation in solitude Kutch is like a foresaken corner of the world where earth breathes in her own way. Here I would like to share my intimate conversation with the land, ocean and self. It is through images and my reflections. As usual I was drawn towards Kutch for photography due to it's otherworldy landscapes. This w...

It's really true until you see Kutch. And when you go to Kutch the calling to visit it come back again. It's my third trip to this wonderland. I am basically a mountainy who loves anything from sahyadri to Himalayas that is full of hills and valleys. But when I experienced the Rann / desert land the enigmatic beauty compelled me to think again. Will be sharing some stories, images and videos here one by one.

There's something unique about Rajasthan. The way birds roam around in the village freely. The trust between humans and birds is visible in their daily lives. Got this beautiful moment clicked in Kiradu village.
