Indigestion due to over eating is the first and foremost indication of Shankh Vati. It is recommended in various digestive disorders like abdominal distension, Dyspepsia, Loss of appetite, Vomiting sensation due to over eating, Belching, abdominal flatulence causing pressure on the diaphragm and thereby causing chest pain, diseases of stomach, liver, spleen, duodenum, small intestine, large intestine and appendix.
