Sleeping enough, but still waking up exhausted? It may be more than just tiredness.

Some tiredness gets better after a good night’s sleep. But when you wake up still feeling drained, unmotivated, irritable, or mentally exhausted even after resting- it may be a sign that something deeper needs attention.

Burnout can affect more than your energy. Your sleep, digestion, mood, motivation, concentration, and overall sense of wellbeing can all begin to feel different.

And sometimes, a weekend off isn’t enough to bring you back to yourself.

Healing from burnout is not about simply pushing harder or taking a day or two to rest. It begins with understanding what your body and mind are asking for, and creating space for genuine recovery.

At Sitaram, we look at your wellbeing as a whole and work towards personalised Ayurvedic support based on your individual needs.

You don’t always need to do more. Sometimes, you need to pause and truly recover.

Have you ever eaten a meal that made you feel cared for?
There’s something different about food when it is prepared with you in mind.

At Sitaram, meals are thoughtfully created around the Ayurvedic understanding of the individual considering your constitution (Prakriti) , digestion, the season and what your body may need at that moment.

Not complicated.
Not restrictive.
Just fresh, wholesome food prepared with intention.

Because Ayurveda reminds us that nourishment is not only about eating well. It’s about learning to listen to your body and giving it what supports you best.

And perhaps that’s what makes a meal here feel different, you’re not just being served food. You’re being nourished.

Ever notice how the less you move, the harder it becomes to feel energetic?

A busy day can leave you exhausted. But sometimes, it’s not the amount of work you’ve done that leaves you feeling heavy, it’s how little your body has been able to move, digest and reset.

Modern life has made comfort effortless: hours at a desk, meals delivered to our doorstep, screens filling every pause. Yet our bodies still need movement, rhythm and healthy digestion to feel light and alive.

Ayurveda gives us a different way to look at this experience- through Kapha, Agni, Ama and Ojas.

Ojas represents nourishment, resilience and vitality. When digestion and movement become sluggish, Ayurveda describes the possibility of heaviness and accumulation that can stand in the way of that vitality.

So perhaps the better question isn’t, “How can I force myself to have more energy?”
It’s “What is making it harder for my natural vitality to shine through?”

That answer is personal and sometimes, it takes a deeper conversation to find it.

In the midst of busy days, constant thoughts and endless stimulation, Ayurveda reminds us of the value of slowing down.

Shirodhara is a classical Ayurvedic therapy in which a continuous, rhythmic stream of warm, prescribed therapeutic liquid is gently poured over the forehead. The steady flow creates a deeply calming sensory experience, allowing you to pause, breathe and turn your attention inward.

At Sitaram, Shirodhara is approached as a personalised Ayurvedic therapy not simply a relaxing treatment.

The therapeutic liquid, ingredients, duration and overall approach are selected according to your individual needs and Ayurvedic assessment.

From the gentle preparation with Abhyanga to the rhythmic flow of Shirodhara, every part of the experience is designed to help you step away from the noise and reconnect with yourself.

Because Ayurveda is not only about treating the body.
It is also about creating space for balance, stillness and wellbeing.

What if better sleep begins long before you get into bed?

A restless night isn’t always about sleep itself. Sometimes, what happens throughout your day- your screen time, stress, routine and mental stimulation follows you into the night.

In this episode of Decoding Ayurveda, Dr. Reshmi shares simple ways to create a more supportive night routine, from reducing social media and stress triggers to creating a calming environment with soft music, meditation and gentle herbal teas.

And when Ayurvedic herbs are considered, they should be chosen after understanding your Prakriti and current Dosha Vikriti, rather than taking them randomly.

Because better sleep isn’t just about falling asleep.
It’s about creating the right conditions for your mind and body to truly rest.

What if the magic of Padabhyangam lies in the points you can’t see?

Padabhyangam is more than simply massaging the feet.

In Ayurveda, the feet are home to important Marma points- vital points that hold significance in traditional Ayurvedic therapy. Our Panchakarma therapists are trained in understanding these points and their therapeutic significance, bringing precision and intention to every session.

The pressure, technique and specific Marma points are thoughtfully selected according to your individual condition, needs and the outcome being worked towards.

So every Padabhyangam experience can be different.
It’s not simply about feeling good at the moment.
It’s about creating a space to relax, rejuvenate and reconnect with your body through the wisdom of Ayurveda.

Because in Ayurveda, even the smallest detail of a therapy has a purpose.

Autoimmune conditions rarely have a single cause. While genetics play a role, years of unmanaged chronic stress, poor sleep, digestive imbalances, and constant overstimulation can aggravate Vata dosha, disrupting your body’s natural rhythm and resilience.

When movement is restricted, Vata gets disturbed and shows up as stiffness, poor circulation, fatigue, disturbed sleep, and a feeling of disconnection from your own body. Long before a severe imbalance shows up, the body whispers through subtle cues: the arrival of autoimmune can be one of them.
