Drumstick is the only vegetable I need a Cinderella story to eat.

On its own — fibrous, slimy, seedy. A bit of a hard sell.

In tamarind-infused sambar? Absolute magic. It soaks up every spice and gives it back to you in one long, satisfying chew.

Drumstick (moringa) is one of the most underrated prebiotic vegetables in the Indian kitchen — anti-inflammatory, rich in micronutrients, deeply nourishing for the gut lining.

What vegetable do you put in your sambar?

How mindfully are you breathing right now?

You can go weeks without food, but only minutes without air. So why is breathing the one thing we do so thoughtlessly?

If your day is getting dull or stressful, pause. Breathe in the oxygen, breathe out the tension. Give these three quick and quirky techniques a try!

Why is it that some women have totally crushed it in powerlifting and heavy strength training, but a lot of guys still think yoga is just a “feminine” workout? Let’s bust that myth. 👋

Biologically, we all have the exact same s*x hormones—testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. The only difference is the ratio (men have more testosterone; women have more estrogen and progesterone).
But movement shouldn’t be boxed into rigid gender stereotypes. We all need a mix of qualities to thrive.
While women benefit from building raw physical strength, men have so much to gain on the mat. When men embrace yoga, they don’t just gain incredible physical flexibility—they get a massive boost in emotional intelligence.

Yoga forces you to slow down, breathe through discomfort, and actually tune into your mind and body. For men conditioned to just “push through” or bottle things up, developing that kind of self-awareness is a absolute superpower for life and leadership.
True balance means knowing when to lean into your strength, and when to lean into your softness.

Be gutsy.

Today’s brunch — baingan ka bharta (roasted aubergine mash) with boiled eggs, mixed millet and wheat rotis, dal and curd. The vegetable I refused as a child is the one I crave a lot these days. Funny how that works 😃.

Completely balanced, first meal of the day. This is what two square meals looks like in practice. Simple. Ancestral. Enough.

DM me if you wish to know more about circadian rhythms and how to sync our body with nature again.

Many people call this plate elaborate.

It’s rice, dal, pumpkin, pickle and curd.

It’s just Tuesday as it would be in my grandmother’s kitchen.

Every macro. Every micronutrient. Nothing missing.

We didn’t lose this way of eating because it stopped working. We lost it because convenience got louder than wisdom.

Another brunch. No dal.

Lentils are genuinely healthy — but they’re a protein-carbohydrate package, not pure protein. Eating dal every single day means your gut never gets a break from the carb load.

So I swap the calories. Palak paneer instead — pure protein, good fat, iron, calcium. Thick curd on the side for the probiotic hit. Cucumber because digestion loves something cool and crunchy. Red rice to keep the GI low and let everything else work properly.

This is the move for vegetarians: dal three or four times a week, not seven. On the other days — paneer, curd, eggs if you eat them.

Not restriction. Just smarter rotation.

Eat for two — your taste buds and your gut bugs.

Seven moves from the hips that will dissolve stiffness and set them free 🙌

A quiet mid-afternoon, post-lunch break with a shot of mocha. The system slows down to assimilate and build energy for the second half of the day.

And I realised how that moment of still life, captured in image, was so simple and yet so complex.

So many reflections — glass, windows, curtains, sky, clouds, trees, sunglasses — I stopped counting after ten. A snapshot is a great way to observe life. One image, so many clues and cues in myriad minute details.

It reminded me of that magazine game — two seemingly identical pictures, and you had to spot the five or six missing elements. Keen observation as quiet challenge.

Observation is one of the best ways to relax, even meditate. A rejuvenating break before work beckons — and breaks the patterns you are weaving in time.
