Pulwama 23-6-2026, Gears Up for Pulse Polio National Immunization Day 2026; *ADC Chairs District Task Force Meeting* 📢PULWAMA: To ensure full preparedness and seamless ex*****on, a meeting of the District Task Force for the upcoming Pulse Polio *National Immunization Day (NID) 2026* was held at the DC Office Complex under the Chairmanship of the Worthy *Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pulwama*
During the meeting, the Chair reviewed the comprehensive action plan presented by *Dy.CMO Pulwama & DIO Pulwama*, emphasizing 100% vaccination coverage for all eligible children aged 0–5 years across the district.
*Key Directives Issued by the Chair*:All departments must work in close coordination to ensure no child is left unvaccinated, particularly focusing on remote, high-risk, or nomadic transit populations.
*Inter-Departmental Synergy*: Strong coordination was mandated between the Health Department, ICDS (Poshan), Education, and Municipalities to facilitate smooth operations.
*Logistics & Cold Chain*: Directions were issued to secure meticulous arrangements for booth management, vaccine logistics, and strict maintenance of the cold chain.
*Mass Awareness*: The Information Department and local bodies were instructed to ramp up awareness campaigns via public announcements, social media, and educational institutions to maximize turnout.
The meeting was attended by the *Chief Education Officer Pulwama,Programme Officer,ICDS,Dy.Chief Medical Officer (Dy.CMO) Pulwama, District Immunization Officer, Block Medical Officers all (BMOs)*, and representatives from other line departments.

*Block Level Training for implementation of HPV vaccination Programme*

A one day Block level training for implementation of HPV vaccination Programme in *BLOCK Pulwama* district Pulwama was held today at Block Headquarter Tahab Pulwama.The training programme was conducted under the supervision of *Deputy Chief Medical Officer Pulwama & DIO Pulwama* and was attended by , Field Supervisory Staff MOs/(CHOs/HEs/LHVs),ASHA Facilitators,U-WIN operators/vaccinators and Cold Chain Handlers.
The training regarding HPV vaccination Programme was imparted by *Dr Masooda Jan*(DIO PULWAMA)& *Dr.Moien*(MO Pulwama),

The participants were apprised regarding:

1. Operational Planning
2. Cold chain and vaccine management
3. HPV Vaccine session conduction
4. Reporting and management of AEFI
5. Safe Injection Practices
6. Crisis communication and management
7. Intersectoral Coordination
8. Micro planning
9. Use of eVIN and U -WIN Portal for data entry during HPV vaccination Programme
