Meet Ella Peña ☀️ A Girl Scout on a mission to make sun safety second nature for the next generation.

For her Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award a Girl Scout can earn, Ella created Learn To Not Burn, a project that teaches kids why protecting their skin matters and how easy (and fun) good sun habits can be.

Through classroom lessons, games, coloring, hands on activities, and community events around Miami, Ella has been helping kids learn about sun protection in a way that actually sticks. At Green Day in Miami Shores, she even put their SPF knowledge to the test, rewarding kids who answered sun safety questions correctly with sunscreen of their own.

When Ella reached out to Bask about her project, supporting her mission felt like a natural fit. We’re incredibly proud to give Learn To Not Burn a home on our site and help Ella spread the word that healthy sun habits start early. 💛
