Ambergris Samples
I just listed a few samples of Ambergris on my Full Petal Alchemy page under Incense & Resins. It’s a tiny, but very fragrant sample. If you’ve been Ambergris-curious, here’s a chance to smell the real thing.

Ambergris Samples - Many people are curious, but don’t have an opportunity to smell ambergris. I’ve had a few inquiries, so tomorrow I’m going to have tiny samples in my shop. Even small amounts of ambergris are incredibly fragrant, so it’s a great way to experience it for yourself.

Frankincense (Boswellia Papyrifera)
This frankincense is highly prized in the Sudan where it originates and is also commonly burned in churches. In addition to boswellic acid, it contains incensole and incense acetate. Both chemicals have been shown to have anti-anxiolytic, anti-depressant, neuroprotective properties after TBI and ischemic events in animal models. I prefer to use my electric incense burner to limit exposure to charcoal smoke.

Frankincense & Orange Blossom
The frankincense maceration turned out beautifully.
Orange Blossom Absolute, Neroli Essential Oil, Olive Fruit Absolute, Vanilla CO2, and aged, beach-combed Oil of Ambergris beautifully complete this dry body oil designed to show reverence for and (re) connection with the body.
