26 years ago I entered this industry and I’ve dedicated my life to it since then. 🤓
I quite often battle in my head about posting more often, filming more content, being more creative with social media. But then I step back and realise I’m just buying into all the noise. 🤯
I didn’t become this successful because of instagram.
I became this successful because of passion, dedication, education and obviously my sparkling personality and wit 😂🤭

If you’re a new skin therapist, or even someone who’s been doing it for years - yes, social media can help boost your clients but honestly? Just be good at what you do, be reliable, don’t mess people around, have good solid systems in place, be a listening ear and most importantly make your clients feel seen.

It also helps if you can be funny 😁

This is me….warts and all. Makeup wise, I only ever wear eye makeup and a bit of blusher (so I don’t resemble a sick Victorian child).

For transparency, every now then I’ll chuck the Dermapen at it and shove a skin peel on when I’m doing admin (but that’s about 2/3 times a year at best 😱😱).

I will continue to bang on about this in my studio “consistency is key”. You wouldn’t expect to go to the gym once a month, eat pizza at home every night and be fit and toned…..so why are we doing this with skin treatments?

I want to help clear the marketing fog, this is your time to focus on you at home. Show up for yourself, twice a day for one minute max. It’s the least you can do for yourself.
