Standing on stage recently to teach for Maybelline New York represents a dream come true for me and a glimpse into the kind of career I want to have.

This felt like walking in purpose 🥹

Getting here isn’t something that happened overnight. It was the result of years of showing up, investing in my craft, continuing to learn, and believing that each small step was preparing me for something greater.

This was a big reminder to me to:

Keep investing in myself.

Keep saying yes to opportunities that stretch me.

Keep showing up, even when progress feels slow.

You never know which moment will become the one that changes everything. But one thing I know for sure, is that this is just the beginning.

From behind the scenes… to center stage ✨

Partnering with Maybelline New York at The Ladies Expo was such an exciting opportunity to share my passion for makeup education with an incredible audience.

There’s so much that goes into a live stage demonstration that people don’t always see—the preparation, planning, product selection, and those few quiet moments before stepping on stage.

But once the demonstration begins, it’s all about connecting, teaching, and helping people discover techniques they can confidently use for themselves.

Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. It’s never just about applying makeup—it’s about educating, inspiring confidence, and sharing knowledge with others.

I’m so grateful to The Beauty Concept and Maybelline New York for the opportunity to be part of such a memorable event.

When I teach makeup I explain the theory behind every concept. If you understand why you’re doing something then your result will be better.

The challenge with learning makeup from social media is that you’re often learning how someone else does their face, without the explanation of why that technique was even used.

Let’s test the theory…
If I tell you to highlight your face, what product would you choose to use:
a) foundation
b) concealer
c) pressed powder

Many women immediately associate concealer with the TECHNIQUE of highlighting, but they are not the same.

The result? You buy products you don’t need, and limit your own creativity and efficiency by using products in only one way.
