Menstrual hygiene day aims to break the silence and stigma surrounding menstruation and advocate for equal access to menstrual hygiene products and facilities for all women and girls

Menstruation is treated as a luxury rather than the necessity that it is in many countries across the globe, including Kenya. It is very unfortunate that in Kenya, a packet of 7 sanitary pads now costs up to KES 120

Menstrual cups are a reusable alternative to sanitary pads and tampons. Aunt Flow Kenya is determined to end period poverty by ensuring that all women and girls will always have something to rely on for their monthly period regardless of their financial situation

As we celebrate love this month, don't forget to keep a good amount of it for yourself, because you too, deserve all the love you have to give. Embrace your flow.
