Our soap handmade factory is located in Amchit, close to Byblos, the village where Ernest Renan, the French orientalist lived. The soap workshop was founded in 2019 by the Engineer Pierre Nacouzi, an expert in agronomic sciences, in order to commemorate the memory of his Father Barbar, who taught him how to make soap. Since his childhood, making traditional laurel soap for personal use, Engineer Nacouzi, decided, while keeping the quality of tradition and while combining business with pleasure, to launch a new initiative to create an all-natural local quality brand... Barbar, a natural and artisanal soap. Day after day, this range grows to become today composed of more than thirty different kinds of high quality soaps.
