For me, the answer was never a career title, achievements, or recognition.
It was — and will always be — my children.
I have worked relentlessly to build my career as a self-employed woman. It took sacrifice, resilience, motivation, endurance, and determination to reach the top of my field. I was proud of what I built.
But nothing compares to being a mother.
There was a time when I had to face one of the hardest chapters of my life — a period that tested me emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It forced me to choose what truly defines me. And I chose my child. Every single time.
That season taught me something powerful: strength is not loud. It is patient. It is persistent. It shows up every day, even when exhausted. It keeps fighting with dignity.
If I hadn’t worked as hard as I did, if I hadn’t saved, sacrificed, and prepared — things could have turned out very differently. For that, I am grateful for my own resilience.
Today, having my son with me 24/7 is not something I take for granted. It is an honour. It is a privilege. It is a reminder that love is stronger than any storm.
We are healing. Gently. Softly. Intentionally.
And while some chapters test you, they also reveal who you truly are.
