Long ago, a ship on the route to the Indies
carried in its hold the ancestor of the Limon de Rodrigues.

Three centuries later, the citrus has been transformed,
shaped by a raw, limestone soil.
A slow cultivation, one that works with nature rather than forcing it.

Our fragrances tell the story of this fruit and this land.

The Light of the Perfume

A perfume is seen before it is smelled. The transparency of the bottle, the colour of the juice, the light passing through it, these already give a first impression: fresh, sun-drenched, warm, or deeper.

Then comes the scent.

And it, too, seems to carry its own light.

This sensation is born from the materials and how they are blended. Citrus notes, certain white flowers, or fresh, airy accords often bring brightness. Woods, resins, or smoky notes create more shadow and depth. But as in painting, it is contrast that reveals the light.

A fresh note can illuminate a woody accord.
A deeper material can, conversely, reveal the full brilliance of a citrus fruit.

The perfumer, then, doesn't just compose a scent. They also compose a sensation of light.

A certification that guarantees cultivation without any chemical products, entirely manual farming practices, irrigation drawn solely from natural rainfall, and production exclusively within the territory of Rodrigues.

A living heritage, now protected, found in each of our fragrances.
