”The idea behind Moder Jorde derives from the Ylang Ylang tree we have in our home, that my Grandmother had planted many years ago. One unfortunate day in 2015, she found out that she has psoriasis. My dearest grandmother/my favorite person, who is way chicer than I am in her collection of skin care -was devastated. Moder Jorde lit up the Earth Hour event hosted by Meraki Coffee Roasters last night. The 12AM candles that were used- made of beeswax, purified the environment for clean air. The candles were topped off with a cotton wick for a safe burn, and moulded with natural earth pigments for the bold, black look- complimenting the architecture of the place. Bottle caps and glass bottles were recycled to create lighting. The surroundings echoed with raw, beautiful music by , , and. We were pleased to have an eye opening conversation with .
