Busy family people can have great looking skin too !!
Our skin is our largest organ with multiple functions especially protection against microbes, UV & dehydration of body fluids.
Today, I paused a while to apply my and give my skin the hydration it was asking for.
If you are a busy mum wanting to get some household chores done or eat your dinner or cook, i will wash the face to put the mask on then go get the things done.
Then shower and wash off or rinse off. The skin feels so soft and supply like baby skin after hydrating.
Not all vegetables are vegetables.
Pumpkin is a vegetable but its macronutrient is carbohydrates in nature
Choosing mix rice instead of bowl of noodles allows me to have better portions of vegetables & proteins & choice of carbohydrates portions too.

Give a woman a compliment on her hair & watch her whole world 🌍 light 💡 up.
Your hairstylist said it's time for a change.
But are you really ready to let go of what's been "YOU" for years?
🤫 Let me tell you something most people don't talk about.
We don't just wear hairstyles.
We wear our identity.
Our comfort zone.
Our version of ourselves that the world has come to know.
For years, I've had short hair. Some due to the stylist’s eye of style. (I remember 1 stylist say I can take short hair and she did really really cut my hair SUPER SHORT!!)
🙌🏽 Clean cut… Practical... Easy maintenance… ME!!.
Then my hairstylist looked at me and said —
"Longer hair is trending now. Time for a change from your usual short hair." 🤓
And just like that, a tiny seed of doubt was planted.
Should I change?
Can I change?
What does a "new" me even look like?
So I did something a little different. Thanks to Niel Tan for this.
I turned to AI.
I uploaded my photos — real, unfiltered, everyday me photos —
into an AI highly detailed prompt crafted by the talented Niel Tan.
And what came back blew my mind.
The AI didn't just show me longer hair.
It analysed my face shape — Soft Round / Oval.
It read my hair texture — Straight to Slightly Coarse.
It considered my density — Medium to High.
And it matched all of that to styles that actually work for MY face.
Textured Pixie. Side-Swept Pixie. Layered Crop. Classic Short Cut.
Then alternatives — Soft Bob. Asymmetrical Bob. Tapered Pixie.
And signature styles — Volumized Pixie. Modern S**g Crop. Elegant Short Bob.
Style after style, visualised on a face that looked like mine.
Here's what I learned. Cause I didn’t like the 1st output where my face skin looked so haggard and tired.
The quality of your AI output depends entirely on the quality of your input.
Bad photo = blurry, off-target results. Making me look older, tired looking skin.
Good photo = accurate, tailored, stunning recommendations.
When I used a clear, well-lit, front-facing photo —
the AI gave me results that felt personal, refined, and real.
When I used casual, shadowy, side-angle snapshots —
the output was generic at best.
Lesson learned: If you want AI to help you look your best,
give it your best to work with and guide it.
But here's the deeper thing I want you to think about.
My hairstylist wants me to try longer hair. (I am still thinking… as it feels heavier…yes… be grateful for all the hair on my head)
He thinks it's a good change.
He also gently nudged me — stop wearing the same parting every day.
Vary it. Play with it. Let your hair breathe in new directions.
Maybe… that's not just advice about hair.
That's advice about life.
How often do we stick to the same "style" — in how we show up,
how we present ourselves,
how we carry ourselves —
because it's familiar?
Because it's safe?
Because it's been "us" for so long we've forgotten it was once a choice?
Our hairstyle is not just about aesthetics.
It's about how we feel when you walk into a room.
It's about the energy you project before you say a single word.
It's about your persona — the version of yourself you choose to show the world.
A new hairstyle can shift your confidence.
A new look can spark a new chapter.
A little change on the outside can open something big on the inside.
I'm still considering the longer style. Sometimes what the stylists see is not what we see as we only see what we can see in the mirror. They have a 360 view of us plus their feel of our personality and style.
I've tried varying my parting these last few weeks but old habits makes me sweep it back the same way.
And I have both my hairstylist AND Niel Tan's brilliant AI prompt to thank
for making me see myself in a variety of styles.
To everyone who's been holding on to the same look for years —
maybe it's time to upload a good photo, run it through AI, and see what version of yourself has been waiting to emerge.
You might be surprised. My guess will be it will still vary around your length. From my longer style, it didn’t create a shorter style based on the prompt. So it’s still up to what you tell AI to do.
The best hairstyle isn't the one that's trendy.
It's the one that makes you feel complete — in your look, your feel, your persona, and your confidence.
A huge thank you to Niel Tan for his incredibly detailed hairstyle analysis prompt.
Without it, the AI output would never have been this accurate, this personalised, this beautiful.
Go find your look. Go own it. BE YOU!!

I have seen how people just rubs their eyes to remove makeup and swipe around the face.
There is actually a guide which I learned to remove make up.
1. Use Eye Makeup Remover or a creamy cleansing lotion to help dissolve the makeup on our gentle skin and eye organ area.
Swipe cotton pad downwards
2. For general face area we want to use upwards & outwards swipes to remove dirt beneath the pores.
3. Double cleanse even if thin makeup.

When we grow older we wish to have the energy of a young kid and wonder what happened to our energy.
I grew up watching Energizer Batteries advertisements on TV.
The message is how long lasting their batteries are to keep the bunny toy playing and playing when all other batteries can’t keep up with theirs.
Then I learned, our body have millions of cells that also have energizer batteries in them.
WE!!! HAVE OUR OWN ENERGIZER BATTERIES 🔋 WITHIN US !!
Our natural body chemical factory can also help us detox the toxins that have accumulated in our energizer batteries when we sleep so we can wake up feeling fresh, ready to jump out of bed like a kid.
Factors that help improve the efficiency of our energizer battery :-
1. Active lifestyle with exercise
2. Nutrition from our foods
3. Get your deep sleep
4. Stay hydrated
Factors which we may not be able to avoid that may reduce the efficiency of our energizer batteries:-
1. Exposure to environmental chemicals
2. Drugs & medications
3. Pollution & UV
4. Genetics
5. Aging (we can help with this!!)
So now you know WE HAVE MILLIONS OF ENERGIZER 🔋 BATTERIES in our bodies. 💪🏼💪🏼💃🏽🕺🏻💃🏽🕺🏻
Since food, nutrition & staying hydrated are things in our control, the least we can do is carry PLAIN drinking water with us to help me stay hydrated. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 (Our Kidneys will thanks us too in the long run)
Wishing you a bountiful harvest season and a joyful celebration with your loved ones. Kotobian Tadau Tagazo Do Kaamatan & Gayu Guru Gerai Nyamai!

28 May - World Nutrition Day
Nutrition is the amazing process of how our body processes our consumption of whatever food (& drinks) we put into our mouth, absorbing them, and using the nutrients from food to build the different parts of our chemical body machine.
The food we eat should provides the essential energy, vitamins, and minerals your body needs to survive, grow, repair tissues, and maintain overall health.
Basically there are 2 groups that make up nutrition:- Macronutrients & Micronutrients.
ALL OF US ARE FAMILIAR WITH MACRONUTRIENTS.
When we eat our Nasi Lemak, Fried Mee Hoon, Char Koay Teow, Roti Canai, Kaya Toast, Chicken Rice, Pasta, Spaghetti … they are our macronutrients.
Our body’s quick source of energy comes from macronutrients carbohydrates in the rice, mee hoon, koay teow, bread.
Proteins are essential for building & repairing muscles, tissues & immune cells and can be obtained from macronutrients Proteins in our chicken, meats, fish, eggs, milk.
Beneficial Fats help in protecting organs, absorbing certain vitamins, and maintaining healthy cell membranes. Fats are from the Macronutrients fats in coconut, fried food, oils. This does not give us the excuse of eating more fried foods as there are fats are beneficial and not so beneficial for the body.
MICRONUTRIENTS are ESSENTIAL VITAMINS and MINERALS that our body requires in very specific amounts to function properly. Unlike macronutrients (carbohydrates, fats, and proteins), micronutrients do not provide energy directly.
Micronutrients act as the biological tools of your metabolism, enabling chemical reactions, supporting immune health, and facilitating tissue growth and repair.
Our body cannot produce most micronutrients on its own, hence why the National Institute of Health (NIH) suggests we eat 6-7 servings of rainbow 🌈 colours of fruits & vegetables daily to obtain a wide variety of our vitamins and minerals for our body.
Thank you God for blessing us with abundance of varieties to savour and nourish our body’s wellbeing.
When we are used to just having mihun goreng or nasi lemak for breakfast, trying to eat healthy can be an uphill tasks.
I usually get people surprised when i suggest to them to add more cucumber or greens to their nasi lemak / mihun.
It also took me sometime to start this new habit to add veges in and increase the protein portions.
Then i find it helps to make me feel fuller with the fiber from the vegetables with more protein.
Save money by making your own hard boiled eggs if you can at home and bring along to add to your nasi lemak bungkus or mihun goreng.
