Honourable Gaudentia Kröhne, Deputy Minister of Industrialisation and Trade and board member of Miss NGO Namibia/Miss world Namibia , officially opened the Five Rand Primary School Career Fair and Expo on 21 April 2026. She was accompanied by Miss World Namibia 2026, Elly Aron, and the first runner-up of Miss NGO Namibia 2025, Jane Muhepa.
In her keynote address, Honourable Kröhne encouraged the principal and teachers to expose learners to STEM fields, emphasizing that primary education is the critical foundation that must be prioritized. She commended the school for hosting a career fair at the primary level, describing it as the “new normal.”
The Deputy Minister noted that this initiative is a clear indication of the “business unusual” approach championed by the President under the 8th Administration, a mandate to do things differently and out of the ordinary to achieve better results for the nation.
Miss World Namibia 2026, Elly Aron, further motivated the learners to prioritize their academic success. She shared a powerful message on personal responsibility, urging the students to stay focused on their goals, make positive life choices, and work diligently to ensure they reach their full potential.
