This Children’s Day, our hearts are heavy 💔

While many children across the world are being celebrated today, several families in Oyo State are spending this day in pain, fear, and uncertainty following the reported abduction of pupils, students, and teachers from schools in Oriire Local Government Area. Reports also confirm that at least one teacher was killed during the attack. (Legit.ng - Nigeria news.)

Children belong in classrooms, not in fear.
Teachers deserve safety, not violence.

Today, we stand in prayer and solidarity with every affected family and community. We refuse to stay silent while innocent lives are torn apart by insecurity.

As we celebrate children today, may we also remember those whose laughter has been replaced with fear and whose families are desperately praying for their safe return.
