It's Autism Awareness Month ❤️🧩 For those who don't know, I recently found out that I'm an Aspie ("Aspergers"/Level 1 Autism/"High-Functioning" Autism).

Navigating this world as a neurodiverse individual is absolutely challenging especially when there aren't instructions on how to "blend in" with neurotypical standards. For us, we mask ourselves to what we believe a "normal" person is in addition to facing our own individual struggles (wherher it's communication, sensory, Adhd, OCD, etc.).

My message to anyone who is autistic: Be confident in who you are and the amazing skills that you've learned along the way. We are special individuals with incredible super powers that even science haven't been able to explain. No matter what people say about you, continue to strive, over-excel, and be unapologetically you. You don't need to force yourself to mask what makes you comfortable because someone else thinks it's weird. Be kinder to yourself and continue to develop your own self awareness ❤️
